Preschool Director: Dori

Hi! My name is Dori and this will be my 2nd year as Director at St Peter’s Preschool. I started as a parent then, I was an aid for 2.5 years and a teacher for 15. I will be celebrating 19 years on staff in September.

Preschool Teacher: Alanna

Hello! My name is Alanna and I am the Otter teacher.

I previously worked at St. Peters for 2 years as the Sea Star teacher, and left about 3 and half years ago. I returned as an aid in April of 2021 and after a couple months took over the Flying Fish class. This past year I became the Otter teacher!  I love the kids, staff and the environment here so much. We truly have an amazing team!

Preschool Teacher: Bekah

Hi!

My name is Bekah, and St. Peter’s has been home to me for over 20 years now. I started right out of high school as a Teacher’s Aide working mostly summers and part time through the bulk of my undergrad years, and then began teaching in 2008. Since then I’ve served at one point or another in every position here at St. Peter’s and have learned so much. I do hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, but would now easily concede that the most useful source of my education has been working here with great kids, teachers and families.

Preschool Teacher: Diana

Hello! My name is Diana, I am looking forward to a fun school year. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born in El Paso, Texas and we moved to Tijuana Baja California when I was 4 years old and have been living in Tijuana since then. I have 1 sister and 1 brother, both younger. I enjoy traveling and love spending time with my friends and family.

Preschool Teacher: Josey

Hello St. Peter’s! My name is Josey.

I have been with St. Peter’s Preschool for two almost three years, and I am studying to achieve an associate’s degree in Social Behavioral Sciences. I’ve volunteered in my church’s youth ministry for 7 years, working with kids from 2nd grade all the way up to 8th grade. I love working with the kids and my goal is to further my education so that I can be the best teacher I can be. My favorite things to do as a teacher is crafts, science experiments/projects, music and dance!

Preschool Teacher: Paola

Hi St. Peters! My name is Paola I’ve been a part of this preschool since January 2021. I started off as an aide and eventually I got the chance to be a teacher in the Dolphin room!

Preschool Teacher: Bernardita

My name is Bernardita. I was born in Santiago, Chile and moved to the United States after graduating from Universidad Catolica de Chile with a degree in Executive Administration and Certification in Early Child Development. I gained valuable experience at my sister’s Preschool, “Caminito Jardin, “Nubes Blancas Jardin” and “Vitacura Polo Club.” My husband is Stephen Hahn born and raised in Northbrook, IL.

Preschool Teacher: Leslie

Hello everyone! My name is Leslie and I am one of the Teacher’s Aides here at St. Peter’s.

I have only been with St. Peter’s for a few months but this place has quickly become home.

I hold my B.A. in Child & Adolescent Development from Point Loma Nazarene University (2013 grad) and worked for 5 years in preschools or elementary after school programs before taking a few years off to be a stay at home mom to my own two children, one former St. Peter’s student and one current.

Preschool Teacher: Camila

Hola! My name is Camila and I'm so happy to be part of the St Peter's family as a Teacher’s Aide.

I'm from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina; the southernmost city in the world.

I take pleasure in the simple things in life, a good meal, being in the outdoors, going on a walk with my dog Annie, traveling, taking little road trips with my husband, family and friends as well as watching shows or movies together. I enjoy teaching, dancing, listening to music and I love to catch the golden hour at Sunset Cliffs.
