St. Peter’s is hosting its annual “Blessing of the Animals,” on Saturday, October 7. The service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the main parking lot. We honor the life of St. Francis of Assisi, commonly regarded as the patron saint of animals with this blessing for the creatures who give us so much love. All who love their animals are welcome to bring their furry, feathered or scaled friends to receive God’s blessing.
